Inner West Voices Concert: 7.00 pm, Saturday, 28 June, St. Stephen's Church, Newtown
We have una studentessa bellissima, meravigliosissima, intelligentissima, e 
simpaticissima who sings in the truly wonderful Inner West Voices Choir. The choir will be performing at St. Stephen's church in Newtown, at 7pm, on the 28th of June, (tickets here) and the programme includes a truly beautiful song, Morir non può il mio core, by Maddalena Casulana, a magnificent 16th Century composer, lutenist and singer. It will be amazing to hear it live, in a wonderful church, sung by a wonderful choir, but, as a foretaste, here it is performed by the excellent Nightingale Vocal Ensemble, followed by two podcast episodes dedicated to the great Maddalena Casulana:

Another famous 16th Century composer, mentioned in both the podcasts, and author of one of our favourite songs from that period, is Orlando di Lasso.
