Our "Practice" CDs

Language acquisition audio aids in one form or another have been around for decades and are still very popular (at Italia 500 we have dozens of these audio CD courses, but most of these tend to be dialogue based (i.e. you hear two or more people talking in the language you are learning).

We also understand that, despite the best of intentions, often it is quite difficult to sit down in a quiet spot for a few hours each week to revise what was covered in class.

So at Italia 500 we develop specific language CDs to accompany the lessons. Our "Practice" CDs allow you do most of the conversing, and ensure that, during the week, you go over, and absorb, what was covered in class.

One of the most appealing features of the “Practice” CDs is that you can listen to them in your car or whilst you catch public transport, and they represent a continuation of the class outside of class hours.

On each CD or we practise the vocabulary, the expressions and phrases, the grammar, and the dialogue covered in class by repeating it several times, each time leaving a gap so that you can repeat it yourself.

The Italia 500 “Practice” CDs have proven to be a very powerful tool, and are extremely popular with our students. Thanks to them we’ve managed to dramatically increase the actual amount of work we cover in each lesson, not to mention how useful they are for pronunciation.

Each course is accompanied by six eighty minute Italia 500 “Practice” CDs which must be regularly returned. However, if you are an Italia 500 student and you would like to purchase the "Practice" CDs, the cost is $10 per CD.
